The Lake County Board of Commissioners recently signed a proclamation declaring May 2020 Motorcycle Awareness Month in Lake County. The Board promotes the importance of motorist awareness to safely share the road with motorcycles and reminds all riders to make themselves more visible and to encourage all citizens to “Look Twice and Save a Life” at all intersections and upon entering a roadway. All highway users should unite in the safe sharing of roads throughout Lake County as we enter warm weather months, in order to reduce crashes and injuries involving motorcyclists.
