The Lake County Treasurer’s Office, with support from the Lake County Commissioners, will be holding Town Hall Meetings at multiple locations throughout the County in 2021.
“It takes a team effort with all elected officials to provide our residents and businesses with all the programs available to them. Treasurer Zuren’s new initiative is a great example of public awareness,” said Commission President John R. Hamercheck.
The first town hall meeting will be held at the Willowick Senior Center on October 27th at 12:30 pm. The center is located at 321 E 314th St, Willowick, OH 44095. Treasurer Michael Zuren, Auditor Chris Galloway, and Willowick Mayor Richard Regovich will be present at this first Town Hall. The initial presentation will review the functions of the Treasurer’s office and allow the Auditor and Mayor to provide an update of activities in their offices. “Treasurer Zuren, once again, in just a short couple of months has taken action to directly assist some of our most important residents including our senior citizens and veterans,” added Commissioner John Plecnik.
The town hall meetings will provide detailed information about the Treasurer’s Office responsibilities, and review various programs for seniors, owner-occupants, disabled veterans, and spouses of deceased police officers killed in the line of duty, and answer questions from residents.
“I am happy to support these town hall meetings with our elected officials and residents. The availability of Mr. Zuren is a testament to his vision for public service,” noted Commissioner Ron Young.
Additional town hall meetings will be announced soon at libraries and senior centers located throughout Lake County. If you would like to set up a meeting for your organization, please contact Treasurer Zuren’s office at 440-350-2480.
