PAINESVILLE, Ohio, February 7, 2023– At the Commissioner’s meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2023, the Lake County Board of Commissioners declared the month of February 2023, as Black History Month in Lake County, Ohio.
Black History Month serves as both a celebration and a powerful reminder that their history is American History, and their stories are essential to the ongoing story of our struggles, our progress, and our aspirations.
