Commissioners Proclaim January 9, 2025, as National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in Lake County
PAINESVILLE, Ohio, January 9, 2025– The Lake County Board of Commissioners has formally adopted a resolution declaring January 9, 2025, as National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. This day serves as a tribute to the dedication and sacrifices made by law enforcement officers nationwide, including the brave men and women serving in Lake County.
“On January 9, let us take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to ensure our safety and security,” said Commission President Richard J. Regovich. “Their bravery and commitment to our communities deserve our recognition and respect.”
Established in 2015, National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day aims to honor over 800,000 officers across the nation.
